![]() Gordon C.C. Liao Gordon is currently a Vice President with Baird Capital Partners, a middle market private equity buyout firm based in Chicago. Prior to Baird, Gordon was a Principal with Reliant Equity Investors, and an Associate with Wind Point Partners, both middle market private equity buyout firms in Chicago. While at Harvard Business School, Gordon conducted and co-authored a study analyzing the causes and solutions for the under-representation of Asian Pacific American executives in corporate America. This 40-page report was reviewed for publishing by the Harvard Business Review, and featured on CNN in May 2007. Additionally, Gordon has spoken about this topic on several panels and conferences at Harvard Business School and Stanford Law school, among others. Gordon received his Bachelor’s degree, with Highest Honors from The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where he was a recipient of the Bronze Tablet. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School (HBS), where he was a Toigo Fellow. Gordon is a founding Board Member of AAAIM, the Association of Asian American Investment Managers, a co-founder of the Asian American Business Association at HBS, and a founding member of the Asian American Artists’ Collectives of Boston and Chicago. He is also a produced playwright, published poet, and a spoken word artist, having placed third in the 2006 Gwendolyn Brooks Open Mic Poetry Contest for greater Chicago. |
